How to buy tickets through the official Alhambra website
Attraction and date selection
Open the Alhambra official website. On the homepage, scroll down to the “Select Your Ticket” section, where you’ll find different types of tickets, including morning, night, and Albaicín tickets.
Once you’ve selected your preferred ticket type, click Buy Now. You’ll be directed to the next page, where you can review inclusions, schedules, and other important details. After reading them, click the Purchase ticket button.
Note: After choosing your tickets, the purchase must be completed within 30 minutes.
Ticket selection
Complete the reCAPTCHA verification and click the Go to Step 1 button. This will bring you to a calendar interface where you can select your visit date.
Choose the number of visitors and the date of your visit, then click Next.
In step 2, select your preferred time slot for entry and click the Go to Step 3 button.
Check-out & payment
On Step 3, enter your contact details (email, mobile number) and participant names, then accept the privacy policy and proceed to step 4.
You’ll be redirected to the payment page where you can choose from options like Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard) or PayPal. Enter your payment details and confirm the transaction.
Once payment is successful, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your tickets and QR code attached. You can either print your tickets or show the QR code on your mobile device when you arrive at the Castle.

Generalife Gardens are closed for night visits from 1 June to 31 August and from 15 November to 31 March.
The best time to visit the Alhambra Palace is early in the morning, around 9 am, when you can beat the crowds and experience the Alhambra in the cooler part of the day.
Visiting later in the day, after 4 pm, also helps avoid the heat, especially during the summer months.
The best days to visit are from Tuesday to Friday, when the crowds are smaller. Saturdays to Mondays tend to be more crowded.
The best season to visit the Alhambra is during spring (March to May) and fall (September to November), when the weather is mild and the gardens are at their best.

By Bus
C3 – Departs from Calle Padre Suárez, and stops at Alhambra-Generalife.
C30, C32, and C35 Buses – Leave every 8-12 minutes from Plaza Isabel la Católica 4.
C35 bus stops at Paseo de la Sabica 38 – Parque Alixares, 2 minutes from the Alhambra ticket office.
By Car
To reach the Alhambra by car, take the A-395 road, stay in the left lane, and exit at 5A.
Parking is available near the main entrance and ticket office for visitors.
By Taxi
Taxis run 24/7 and are easy to find, usually arriving within 5 minutes. They are white cars with a green stripe on the door.

The Pavilion Main Entrance (Access Pavilion):
Ticket counters are available for last-minute purchases, but online booking is recommended to avoid long wait times (up to an hour).
